Our Fitting Lab in Brisbane

Our Fitting Lab in Brisbane is dedicated to the precise edging and fitting of optical lenses into frames, ensuring our customers receive high-quality glasses. We are seeking an Optical Operations Supervisor to lead our production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the daily activities of the production team in our Brisbane lab.
  • Ensure timely production and manage work-in-progress (WIP).
  • Analyze quality metrics and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Oversee domestic logistics and inventory management.

Requirements for Success

  • Proven experience in a production setting with a hands-on approach.
  • Prior leadership experience is essential.
  • Qualifications as an Optical Mechanic, Optical Dispenser, or equivalent experience in optical fitting is highly desired.
  • Ability to analyze quality and recommend process improvements.
  • Experience working alongside EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams.
