Optical Technician

Our teams work efficiently and collaboratively to produce quality products and deliver to a high level of customer and consumer satisfaction. As an Optical Mechanic or Worker, you will be part of our Optical Fitting lab team, working across the lab and during the day may focus on tasks such as:

• Marking up and blocking optical lenses
• Edging of optical lenses
• Fitting variety of lens types such as rimless, nylon, shell and metal frames
• Tinting
• Final quality checking of completed fitting jobs.
• Pre Quality Control and tracing a variety of frame types

Requirements for the position are:

• Fine motor skills and ability to handle individual lenses carefully throughout the coating process
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, proactive, enthusiastic
