**Job Title:** Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time Housekeeper.

The role is responsible for providing quality housekeeping and laundry services within our residential community. The successful candidate will be required to maintain the cleanliness of residents' living spaces, communal areas, and staff kitchens and office spaces.

Daily tasks will include cleaning common areas, residents' rooms and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and working in the laundry.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cleaning and knowledge of chemical handling, preferably in an aged care environment.

In addition, they will possess empathy, patience, and understanding, a great sense of humour, and a positive approach to ageing.

The successful applicant will also demonstrate their ability to work in a team, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience & knowledge of chemical handling, preferably in an aged care environment.
  • Empathy, patience and understanding, a great sense of humour and a positive approach to ageing.
  • Able to adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and on occasion work independently.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Physically fit to perform various tasks of the role.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Flexible to work weekends and cover leave as needed.
