At Anglicare, we are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to lead our allied health services. This is a full-time permanent role within the Logan region, requiring minimum five years of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Apply high standards of clinical and professional knowledge when performing complex tasks specific to occupational therapy.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients and develop collaborative treatment plans with appropriate goals.
  • Organise caseloads effectively and efficiently, considering clinical priorities and time management.
  • Provide advice, teaching, and instruction to relatives, carers, and other professionals to promote understanding of therapy aims and ensure consistent client care.
  • Lead the development of professional knowledge and skills, positively impacting service delivery by incorporating new trends and developments into practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge relevant to occupational therapy in a community setting.
  • Ability to apply professional knowledge and judgments when performing complex tasks specific to occupational therapy.
  • Experience working within a community-based multidisciplinary team, with capacity to negotiate with stakeholders, operate flexibly, and problem solve.
  • Advanced oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to consult, negotiate, and liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Well-developed organisational and planning skills to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
  • Active participation in continuous quality improvement processes in a clinical setting.
  • Experience supporting and supervising senior clinicians and mentoring graduate-level practitioners.

About You
