Mental health services have experienced significant growth and expansion at a leading private hospital. The role of Mental Health Services Manager provides advanced clinical leadership and operational oversight across mental health inpatient, outpatient, and day program services.
This position involves managing and leading mental health teams with direct reports, including Adult Mental Health Unit Managers, Early Parenting Unit Manager, Allied Health Manager, Intake Coordinator, ECT, and TMS Coordinators.
The successful candidate will provide stewardship, leadership, and guidance to enhance service delivery of all mental health services, meeting consumer, specialist, and community expectations.
Key responsibilities include providing high-quality nursing care through comprehensive assessment, plan development, implementation, and evaluation in a timely and efficient manner.
The manager will also advocate for patient participation in care, goal setting, and discharge planning.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent healthcare stream
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Compliance requirements - Working with Children check, police check, serology, immunisation, and workplace health and safety questionnaire
