Maintenance Planner Role

This is an ongoing position working in our afternoon shift, providing maintenance and engineering solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability.

  • Provide leadership and supervision for mechanical technicians; manage maintenance activities during facility shutdown periods.
  • Ensure preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Investigate process, plant, and equipment failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutions.
  • Offer technical advice in manufacturing facilities on-site.
  • Develop close working relationships with personnel in operations, electrical & instrumentation, system owner group, planning & support group, and quality.
  • Maintain training and documentation relevant to the mechanical team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, electromechanical, or process engineering.
  • Experience in a batch manufacturing environment, specifically in filling / packaging / palletising.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position.
  • Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
