Senior Mechanical Engineer

This is an ongoing role working in our afternoon shift. We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Commissioning Lead to join our dynamic Maintenance and Utilities Team.

The Role:
  • Provide maintenance solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability
  • Lead a team of engineers; manage maintenance activities during facility shutdown periods
  • Ensure preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently
  • Investigate process failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutions
  • Provide technical advice on-site
  • Maintain close working relationships with personnel across various departments
Key Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
  • Experience in batch manufacturing environments, specifically in filling/packaging/palletising
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position
  • Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or trades
