Resource Recovery Team Manager

About the Role:
A highly skilled and experienced professional is required to lead our resource recovery team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in waste management and leadership, with experience supervising teams and managing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the operations of the council's gregadoo waste management centre and rural transfer station.
- Manage daily operations, including oversight of equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Coach and develop team members to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
- MEDIATE CONFLICTS AND RESOLVE ISSUES IN A FAIR AND TIMELY MANNER.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in resource recovery and leadership.
- Experience supervising teams and managing operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
