About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our Contaminated Land team. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a key role in providing strategic and practical solutions to clients with a broad range of environmental management challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management of contaminated land projects, including planning and execution of fieldwork, coordination of internal resources, contractor management, budget management, and client correspondence.
  • Assist with the scope, design, and costing of contaminated land and groundwater investigations.
  • Provide mentoring and training to graduates and junior professionals throughout the delivery of projects.
  • Lead the preparation of technical reports, focused on presenting information in a clear and logical manner, supported by appropriate interpretation of technical data in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation.
  • Assist in undertaking fieldwork, which may involve sampling of environmental media, undertaking hydrogeological investigations, or supervision of subcontractors conducting works such as drilling, excavation, or remediation activities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years' experience within the field of contaminated land assessment and/or environmental assessment and remediation.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and verbal communication skills.
  • A client service focus with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in team environments.
  • Valid/current driver's license.
