Our Endoscopy Unit at Launceston Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis.

As a patient care specialist, you will be responsible for welcoming and admitting patients into our unit, assisting medical officers during procedures, providing safe and supportive recovery for patients post-procedure, and building strong connections with patients and their families through clear and compassionate communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and admitting patients into our unit","
  • Assisting medical officers during procedures (Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy and Cystoscopy)","
  • Providing safe and supportive recovery for patients post-procedure","
  • Building strong connections with patients and their families through clear and compassionate communication","

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse","
  • Recent experience in acute care or hospital settings","
  • Ideal exposure to Endoscopy or Theatre","
  • Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills","
