","Our Endoscopy Unit at Launceston Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis.
","As a patient care specialist, you will be responsible for welcoming and admitting patients into our unit, assisting medical officers during procedures, providing safe and supportive recovery for patients post-procedure, and building strong connections with patients and their families through clear and compassionate communication.
","Responsibilities:
","- Welcoming and admitting patients into our unit","
- Assisting medical officers during procedures (Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy and Cystoscopy)","
- Providing safe and supportive recovery for patients post-procedure","
- Building strong connections with patients and their families through clear and compassionate communication","
Required Skills and Qualifications:
","- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse","
- Recent experience in acute care or hospital settings","
- Ideal exposure to Endoscopy or Theatre","
- Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills","
- A passion for patient-centred care and being part of a values-driven organisation","
