Forensic Accounting & Advisory Services Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Forensic Accounting & Advisory Services team as a Senior Consultant.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and executing client engagements with a focus on conducting accounting and financial analysis. You will have visibility across the whole engagement and will work closely with senior members of the team to deliver high-quality final products.

Your expertise will include:

  • Conducting financial analysis using Microsoft Excel and other tools to solve complex problems, including loss and damage assessment
  • Reviewing information received and identifying further information required to complete the analysis
  • Analysing and interpreting large volumes of information, including accounting, financial and banking records
  • Reviewing financial statements for compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
  • Undertaking research into companies and industries using Capital IQ and other data sources
  • Preparing expert reports, client reports and presentations that detail project scope, methodology and findings
  • Interacting and meeting with clients, including lawyers, in house counsel and senior accounting personnel
  • Developing project planning and management skills
  • Supervising the work of junior staff and providing coaching to junior team members
  • Undertaking networking and marketing activities to develop professional contacts
  • Assisting senior team members with new business development activities
  • Contributing to company initiatives and team development activities
