As a System Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and reliability of complex systems.

Key responsibilities include delivering safety engineering for signalling and infrastructure projects to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with system design and implementation.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage and document risk assessments, workshops, and other activities related to system assurance.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities for growth and developing proposals to secure new contracts.
  • Manage smaller projects under the guidance of the Project Director, ensuring scope, schedule, and risk management are met.
  • Deliver quality results while maintaining overall client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of practical experience as a Systems Assurance Consultant or similar within Rail.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Preferably with railway signalling or related background.
  • Experience with Train Control and Protection Systems for traditional or high-speed lines, including ETCS or CTCS, RBC, TCC, LEU, Balise, EVC, SDU, BTM, STM.
  • Experience with metro line systems like CBTC, including ZC, DSU, LEU, Balise, EVC, SDU, BTM.
  • Knowledge of Interlocking and Train/Vehicle Detection systems, such as Computer Based Interlocking, track circuits, axle counters.
