Highway Transport Technician

The role of Highway Transport Technician is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of technical skill and knowledge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of highway transport vehicles and equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-level diagnostics and repairs on a fleet of trucks and other heavy equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Contribute to our safety culture by demonstrating commitment to high standards of execution within your trade.
  • Operate mobile equipment within limits of competence, training, and experience.
  • Ensure accurate completion of technical documentation, reports, and drawings as required.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance systems (SAP) to confirm time, raise notifications, and close work orders.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to reschedule work, organize resources, and determine priorities when needed.

About You:
  • Australian recognized Heavy Road Transport Mechanical Qualification.
  • High Risk License Working at Heights, HR, CV, Dogging, Rigging, Forklift, Air Con Ticket (Desirable).
  • Extensive experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a broad range of machinery and equipment relevant to the position.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
  • Ability to work well within a close-knit team to achieve shared goals.
