Lecturer in Literacy

This is a full-time, continuing position at the Bundoora campus. The Lecturer will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School, in particular literacy education.
The successful applicant will be expected to supervise research projects and theses at the postgraduate level in areas related to their expertise, contribute to School, College and University strategic plan targets in research and/or consultancy, and maintain and develop their professional standing within the profession or discipline.
- Prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery, and produce high quality curriculum or program materials.
- Undertake course coordination role.
- Work effectively with and negotiate sensitively with students on issues related to effective learning.
- Contribute to emerging research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.
- Supervise higher degree by research candidates.
Mandatory: PhD in a relevant discipline.
Please note that appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
BenefitsSalary Academic Level B ($110,868 – $131,659) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements.
