Role Description/CriteriaLoreto Mandeville Hall Toorak is a Catholic Independent Girls' School and is acknowledged as one of the leading schools in Australia. Our academic, cultural, sporting and pastoral programs are all integral to the holistic education of our students.

The PositionLoreto Toorak invites applications from experienced Accounting and Business Management educators for a position commencing 25 August 2025 until the end of the school year. This role can be offered as part-time (0.6 to 0.8 FTE) or full-time, based on the candidate's preference, with potential for a full-time ongoing appointment from 2026. The position involves teaching Accounting and Business Management at Year 11. Reporting to the Head of Faculty, the successful candidate will be a passionate and innovative teacher committed to delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster student interest in financial literacy, business principles, and management practices. A strong emphasis on analytical and practical approaches will be essential to developing students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world skills.About YouTo be successful in this position, it is essential that you have:

  • Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
  • Proven expertise and knowledge in teaching Accounting (essential) and Business Management
  • A demonstrated understanding and appreciation of principles and practices of student learning strategies and styles
  • Excellent communication skills to a range of audiences
  • A collaborative approach with colleagues in planning and delivering curriculum
  • Proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff and parents.
