Havas Media Australia's Sydney team is seeking a skilled Digital Media Strategist to join our growing media team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead and drive forward the success of performance-oriented media accounts within the media team at Havas Media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies across all core paid search and social channels.
  • Oversee end-to-end setup, optimisation, and delivery of performance media-based campaigns for top brands in Australia.
  • Deploy world-class performance media strategies using audience data and industry-leading technology to drive ROAS for clients.

This role requires a passion for driving results, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to constantly evolve our approach to drive meaningful growth for clients.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  1. Campaign Management: Monitor and manage day-to-day running of paid search and social accounts for clients, ensuring adherence to best practices and restructuring inherited accounts where necessary.
  2. Budget Management: Strong budget management skills to avoid underspend/overspend.
  3. Forecasting: Accurately forecast expected campaign performance for clients.
  4. Account Management: Manage overall client performance media programs for a designated portfolio, including day-to-day client relationships and efficient strategy implementation.
  5. Implementation: Work with the team to create exceptional digital media plans rooted in campaign business objectives, across paid search and social.
  6. Optimisation: Collaborate with the Analytics team to run campaigns with rigor, identify improvements beyond SEM, and highlight opportunities for innovation and improvement on the client account.

A strong understanding of media, marketing, creative, technological, or process changes that can drive growth is essential.
