Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Category Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Technology Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives within the Technology Professional Services Category at ANZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Create value by bringing data-driven insights, commercial thought leadership, developing adaptive procurement solutions, and identifying new sourcing opportunities.
- Help our business leverage external capability through our technology supplier ecosystem.
Requirements
- Significant commercial experience in negotiating complex contracting strategies within a Technology and/or professional services context.
- Understanding of the supply base (national/regional/global) and the competitive forces of the supply market within the Technology Professional Services market.
- Experience in developing strategic sourcing strategies that deliver commercial value and benefits for the business.
- Ability to collaborate with the Category Manager to identify gaps and opportunities within the category.
- Expertise in executing end-to-end sourcing process, including setting the sourcing strategy, executing the appropriate due diligence required, conducting market/supplier analysis, price benchmarking, and conducting negotiations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business stakeholders in order to facilitate sourcing outcomes.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, becoming a highly trusted business partner, sourcing manager, commercial, and market expert.
- Ability to influence decision making at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communicator, stakeholder, and relationship management capability.
- High level of commercial acumen and strong negotiations skills.
- Understanding supply market dynamics, Third Party Risk, and Regulatory requirements, external leading practice, market trends relevant to spend areas.
- Experience in working within the banking industry or similar financial institution.
