About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and in the community, promoting independence and empowering them to achieve their goals.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal planning, and light cleaning, to ensure the individuals we support have a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each person we support.
  • Work collaboratively with other support staff and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a support worker role.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on communication and collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Capacity to meet the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling tasks.
  • Good computer skills and experience using software applications, such as Word and Excel.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the privacy of the individuals we support.
