Quality and Compliance Coordinator

Job Description:

The role of Quality and Compliance Coordinator involves coordinating elements of the quality management system, with a focus on child protection.

  • Identify areas for improvement in the quality management system and implement changes to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of policies, processes, and documentation related to quality and compliance.
  • Conduct self-assessments of services to evaluate their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate information and facilitate continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To effectively coordinate the implementation of quality and compliance systems across the organization.
  • To maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and organisational requirements.
  • To conduct regular reviews of quality and compliance systems to ensure they are functioning effectively.
  • To provide guidance and support to staff members on quality and compliance matters.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as quality or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working in quality and compliance roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in quality and/or a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the area of quality and compliance.
  • Proven knowledge interpreting complex legislation and communicating information to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with coordinating procedure development, self-assessment processes and continuous improvement.
