Key Role in Finance Support

A Financial Assistant is a crucial member of our team, responsible for providing support to the finance department with tasks such as closing processes, financial statement preparation, and ledger maintenance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation calculations.
  • Preparing financial statements and reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Maintaining general ledgers, posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts.
  • Processing invoices and payments in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing support for tax compliance.
  • Liaising with other departments, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Generating ad-hoc reports and analysis.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2 years of experience in finance.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and organisational abilities.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and strong work ethic.
