Childcare Coordinator Opportunity

Our innovative OSHC program for children with disabilities is seeking an experienced coordinator to join our team in Sunbury and Macedon Ranges Specialist School.

We are a disability service provider with 40 years' experience supporting people with a disability and their families. Our mission is to provide high-quality services that make a real difference in the lives of people we support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the OSHC program, ensuring adherence to policies and directives. This includes directly supervising staff and children during after-school care and school holiday programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising staff and children during after-school care and school holiday programs
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and directives
  • Managing the OSHC program
  • Providing leadership and guidance to staff
Requirements:
  • A recognised minimum qualification as per the National Quality Framework
  • Leadership experience in child services, education, or disabilities
  • Passion for child development and education
  • Strong ethics, child safety awareness, and work health and safety knowledge
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in the face of change
Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate
  • Mandatory Reporting Certificate
  • COVID vaccination (including first booster)
  • Proof of Right to work in Australia
