About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our business-wide cloud technology transformation at Bank of Queensland.

You will join one of our essential technology teams as a Senior Software Engineer on the Group Integration Platform, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our digital platforms and core banking systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing input to operational considerations related to in-house applications, with a focus on digital channel and API development.
  • Developing high-level integration designs that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Analyzing and translating business requirements into conceptual solutions that drive innovation.
  • Providing day-to-day support for in-house applications and integrated systems, including second-level support, defect management, and after-hours support as needed.
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for BOQ's on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Ensuring timely resolution of support issues in line with their urgency and priority.
  • Adhering to BOQ's change control processes, ensuring that all changes are thoroughly tested and implemented properly.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A senior level of software development experience using backend applications in C#, .Net, and .Net Core.
  • A deep understanding of integration applications and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Extensive experience in deploying and hosting solutions to the Azure platform.
  • Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline management using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • A strong understanding of the NET framework, including ASP.NET Core.
  • Proficiency in Restful Web Service Design and Service-Oriented Application Design.
  • The ability to read and understand technical documentation, such as API documents and process flow diagrams.
  • Knowledge and skills in Azure API Management Platform or equivalent systems, such as CA, Apigee, or Mulesoft.
