About the Role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of audio visual, commercial drapes, heavy mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems for various clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all resources and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor quality and performance
  • Prepare and supervise documentation and equipment for installation
  • Attend and/or supervise the onsite implementation of projects
  • Client liaison and evaluation of project progress and profitability
  • Create project breakdowns and analyze costs associated with each section of a project
  • Submit contract submissions and ensure installation documents are ready for the install team
  • Develop labour plans and detailed bill of materials for action by various teams and departments
  • Complete general administration tasks and travel to various sites for project management
  • Consult with builders and/or customers regarding site requirements and work health and safety expectations
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in project management and/or construction management
  • Minimum five (5) years proven project/contact management experience
  • Experience working in the installation and commissioning of audio visual, commercial drapes, heavy mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies and commercial acumen
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, design documentation, and specifications
  • Proven practical experience with work health and safety principles and practices
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing project plans and coordinating logistics, personnel, supplies, and equipment
  • High-level organisational and administrative skills, including prioritising, organising, and coordinating multiple tasks against strict deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication ability, including preparing accurate and relevant written reports and business communications
  • High-level of PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook, and understanding of CAD programs
  • Excellent costing/estimating base and solid commercial acumen with a strong financial focus
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities and proven strength in leading and coaching teams
