Manager Data Platform Engineering Role Overview

This key leadership position oversees the end-to-end development lifecycle for icare's enterprise data platform and reusable data products.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing data capabilities.
  • Oversee data pipeline design, ELT/ETL patterns, and data modeling principles to ensure alignment with domain needs and platform strategy.
  • Translate business requirements into well-designed data products that meet customer intelligence and insights needs.
  • Manage and coach a team of engineers to embed strong solution design practices and partner with architects to ensure alignment with enterprise patterns.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years in Data Engineering, including 3+ years in leadership or senior technical roles.
  • Proven experience leading Data Engineering teams in complex cloud-native environments.
  • Demonstrated success delivering scalable data pipelines and reusable data products.
  • Experience implementing engineering standards, code reviews, and reusable frameworks.
