Job Title: IT Audit Manager

This leadership position oversees the delivery of the Internal Audit Plan and provides expertise in Technology to effectively manage a portfolio of audits.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Audit Management: Manages and delivers all Technology focussed internal audits, on-time, on-budget, in accordance with the approved scope, and with a high degree of quality of assurance outcomes.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provides Subject Matter Expertise on Technology and Cyber Security to assess the systems and controls defined by BHP to manage risk with significant potential for business interruption, safety, compliance or financial impacts across the organisation.
  • Sourcing and Coordination: Manages the sourcing of suitable Technology subject matter experts for audits, through established co-source contracts or as guest auditors, to supplement the internal team, where appropriate.

The position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of audit and risk management, including various models of delivery, and well-developed project management skills involving oversight of a number of concurrent projects. A professional Technology audit or control designation (CIA / CISA / CRMA) and significant audit/risk experience are also required.

About This Role

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor of Science / Engineering / Technology. You must also possess a deep understanding of audit and risk management, including various models of delivery, and well-developed project management skills involving oversight of a number of concurrent projects. Additionally, a professional Technology audit or control designation (CIA / CISA / CRMA) and significant audit/risk experience are necessary requirements.
