Job Description

This role involves managing audits of various clients, including listed companies, large private entities and not-for-profit organisations. You will be responsible for monitoring and allocating resources effectively throughout the audit process.

  • Execute and manage audits to ensure high-quality results.
  • Identify risks and develop an appropriate audit approach.
  • Work closely with engagement partners to address potential issues or budget difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include executing and managing audits, identifying audit and engagement risks, and working closely with engagement partners. Other key responsibilities include drafting management letters and completion reports, completing performance reviews and identifying training needs, and liaising with clients to identify future opportunities.

  • Execute and manage audits of listed companies, large private companies and not-for-profit clients.
  • Monitor and allocate resources effectively throughout the duration of an audit engagement.
  • Identify audit and engagement risks and contribute to the design of an appropriate audit approach.
  • Work closely with engagement partners in identifying potential problem areas or budget difficulties.
  • Analysis and documentation of internal controls and control environments.
  • Draft management letters and completion reports.
  • Complete performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Liaise with clients and identify future opportunities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of external audit experience in a professional services firm, CA/CPA qualification, thorough understanding of all financial statement areas, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, experience in reviewing General Purpose accounts, including listed entities, able to identify scope and solve problems, experience and passion in leading and developing teams, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an in-depth understanding of Audit software.

  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • Thorough understanding of all financial statement areas.
  • Able to identify potential risks of material misstatement and design audit tests.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in reviewing General Purpose accounts, including listed entities.
  • Able to identify scope and solve problems.
  • Experience and passion in leading and developing teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an in-depth understanding of Audit software.
