Casual Qualified Locomotive Operator

This is your chance to showcase your skills and experience as a qualified locomotive driver.
About The Role- Operate locomotives safely and efficiently in a variety of environments.
- Carry out shunting, examination of trains, and other duties related to train operation.
- Prepare, stabilize, turn, and assemble locomotives for safe and efficient operation.
- Conduct regular inspections and perform minor repairs.
- Liaise with specialist staff for complex issues.
- Operate communications equipment and prepare relevant documentation.
- Hold a Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent qualification.
- Have recent practical experience operating diesel locomotives.
- Understand safe working procedures in a railway environment.
- Hold a valid motor vehicle license.
- Be available to work varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
