Chief Financial Officer Mining

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and oversee the financial operations within our Mining division.

About the Role:

The CFO will play a critical role in providing strategic financial guidance and driving financial performance to support the company's growth objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization known for its commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute financial strategies and plans aligned with the overall business goals of the Mining division.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis, forecasts, and reports to support strategic decision-making and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities and investments.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and tax planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or a senior finance executive in the mining industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
