We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team in Wacol. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a high level of security and customer service duties, including guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling assigned premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and emergency response to clients and employees
- Guard and patrol assigned premises to prevent and detect security breaches
- Monitor and control access to premises, including access control and X-ray screening
- Respond to emergencies, alarm events, and calls for assistance
- Assess and respond to situations of risk, including crowd control and conflict resolution
- Write incident reports and maintain accurate data logs
Requirements:
- Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control, Unarmed, and Monitoring components
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including weekends and nights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
