About this opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to provide excellent customer service and emergency response to our sites in Wacol. The successful candidate will have a range of experience in the security sector and hold a yellow card or be willing to obtain one.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of security and customer service duties.
- Guard, patrol, monitor, and control assigned premises.
- Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance, and provide necessary support.
- Assess and respond to situations of risk.
- Access control.
- Incident report writing and data logs.
Pay Rate & Roster
We are seeking candidates who can commit to a 4 on/4 off rotating roster, 2 days and 2 nights. Each shift will be 12 hours in duration.
- $26.22 – $28.78 per hour + super, depending on Level.
- Weekly First Aid allowance of $35.22.
- Saturday rate starting from $39.33 per hour.
- Sunday & overtime rate starting from $52.44 per hour.
- Public holiday rate starting from $65.55 per hour.
- Reliever rates if applicable.

- Current Security License.
- Yellow Card – or be willing to obtain.
- Control Room License – Highly regarded.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Impeccable presentation.

- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Highly professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
