Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional and social support to residents, assisting with daily life activities and promoting their independence.
- Support residents with self-care, including grooming, bathing, and dressing, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
- Assist with mobility, using mechanical lifting aids as needed, to ensure residents' safety and well-being.
- Contribute to mealtimes and social activities, fostering a sense of community and connection among residents.
- Assist with catering duties, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
- At least 6 months of experience in a similar role in aged care, with a strong understanding of the sector's best practices.
- Availability to work on a rotating roster basis, including shifts in the morning, afternoon, and night.
- A genuine enthusiasm, care, and compassion for working with elderly people.
- Effective time management and reporting skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
