Role Overview:

This Senior Project Engineer - Earthworks position is an exciting opportunity to join our client's team for the delivery of a major civil infrastructure project in Brisbane/Gold Coast. As a key member of the project team, you will oversee all aspects of earthworks, ensuring designs meet project and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Design: Oversee earthworks and roadworks design, ensuring compliance with project and environmental standards.
  • Contractual Management: Negotiate, administer, and comply with contracts, managing timelines and milestones.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop project budgets, monitor expenses, and report financial forecasts.
  • Operational Planning: Coordinate logistics, manage community impacts, and ensure environmental compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government bodies, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor engineers, fostering high performance and safety across activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in civil engineering, including 5 years in roadworks and heavy civil projects.
  • Strong project management, contract administration, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience
