We are seeking an exceptional Site Manager to lead our operations at our Hume site in ACT. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining continuous operations, delivering to our customers in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage organic waste receival, processing, and production to meet customer demand and maintain stock levels.
- Oversee maintenance and upgrades of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure continuous operation.
- Lead a team of 10-15 employees, planning and monitoring progress of daily tasks and outcomes, and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure site adherence to compliance and legal requirements, and implement strategies to optimise workflow and operational efficiency.
- Perform administrative tasks such as updating SOPs, providing quality management reports, and other reporting obligations in line with compliance and customer agreements.
- A degree in business, engineering, or similar education.
- Previous experience managing a production or manufacturing site.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders on all levels.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
- Strong operational and project management experience.
- Excellent scheduling and planning experience.
- Great forecasting, budgeting, and reporting skills.
- Good understanding of work optimisation techniques.
- Good knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures.
- Strong digital skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and platforms and apply them to daily work routines.
