Transformation Leader for Insurance Innovation

Rest, one of Australia's largest profit-to-member superannuation funds, is seeking a seasoned professional to drive transformation in the Super Insurance Claims space.

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of Rest's members. With a strong background in business analysis and project management, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement cutting-edge technologies that enhance member experiences.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to take on a leadership role and contribute to Rest's mission of creating better retirement outcomes for its members.

Job Description

  • Gather and document requirements: Translate business needs into clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Manage stakeholders: Engage with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements and prioritise them.
  • Analyse and model: Analyse documents, programs, logic, process flows, and specifications to model requirements using techniques such as process mapping, story mapping, and user stories.
  • Manage the requirements lifecycle: Ensure that requirements are prioritised based on their value, complexity, and feasibility.
  • Team communication and collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers, and Third Party members within the product/platform/project team.
  • Risk and issue management: Identify risks and issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services.
  • Proven experience in establishing requirements and specifications for system integration and single sign-on.
  • Proven experience in performing data analysis.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services.
  • Proven transformation experience in the Super Insurance Claims space.
  • Ability to understand business functionality, business complexity, and interdependencies.
  • Proven experience in establishing requirements and specifications for system integration and single sign-on.
  • Proven experience in performing data analysis.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including hybrid working, purchase leave scheme, and gender-neutral paid parental leave.
