Job Summary:
Viatris is seeking a highly skilled Drug Safety Associate to join our Pharmacovigilance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all pharmacovigilance activities, including the collection, review, and reporting of adverse events in accordance with location regulations and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pharmacovigilance Activities: Support the management of all pharmacovigilance activities, including the collection, review, and reporting of adverse events in accordance with location regulations and SOPs.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare reports for spontaneous adverse events of marketed products and track compliance for adverse event reporting timeframes.
- Trend Identification and Analysis: Assist management with identifying any trends and issues arising from reports from the local safety database.
- Training and Development: Review local and global SOPs and pharmacovigilance guidelines, and review and implement affiliate pharmacovigilance staff training matrix and conduct training for affiliate personnel.
- Other Responsibilities: Other responsibilities as directed by the PV Team Lead.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors Degree and/or Masters degree in Medical, Pharmacy, Life Science.
- Experience: 2 years' experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry and a minimum of 18 months Pharmacovigilance experience.
- Skills: Strong communicator, excellent project management and team work skills, organizational skills, and capability of working efficiently autonomously with cross-functional teams.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
