The Opportunity:

This is a great opportunity to join our team and contribute to the successful enablement of our IT strategy. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation of core infrastructure services, ensuring they meet local, regional, and global AIA policies and regulatory, security, and governance procedures and processes.

To succeed in this role, you will:

  1. Manage all operational activities related to updates of digital certificates for AIA AU.
  2. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organisation.
  3. Ensure all infrastructure and technology services adhere to local, regional, global AIA policies and regulatory, security, and governance procedures and processes.
  4. Provide hands-on technical depth that enables direct oversight and problem-solving leadership.
  5. Assist with the implementation of necessary End of Life and/or version currency in technology infrastructure assets.
  6. Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes for technology infrastructure and network assets.
  7. Ensure technology infrastructure and network is provided effectively on a 7x 24 hours basis.
  8. Ensure compliance and governance requirements are met through monitoring and management of in-scope services.
  9. Deliver a high level of customer-focused service – highly people-oriented, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer with experience managing operational activities related to updates of digital certificates. You should have demonstrated technical experience within enterprise environments with a focus on data centres and facilities, servers, storage, network, data protection, cloud platforms, and related enterprise software across these technology stacks.

Key qualifications include:

  1. Experience managing operational activities related to updates of digital certificates.
  2. Demonstrated technical experience within enterprise environments with a focus on data centres and facilities, servers, storage, network, data protection, cloud platforms, and related enterprise software across these technology stacks.
  3. Azure certification or demonstrated experience in Azure environment including Kubernetes services.
  4. ITIL Certification, or demonstrable experience within ITIL organization.
  5. Solid understanding of business needs and customer focus beyond technical/technology aspects.
  6. Experience in Windows Server Systems, Linux Server Systems, Virtualization, Active Directory, Security, file systems, Backup & Restore, patch management, capacity management, Azure cloud computing.
  7. Experience coordinating vendor tasks & priorities in a managed service environment.
  8. Experience in Disaster Recovery process, planning, and testing.
  9. Experience with regulatory compliance, IT compliance, and security controls.
  10. Financial Services and/or Insurance Industry experience is desired.
