The Edinburgh International Festival presents an unparalleled celebration of the performing arts, bringing together creative artists from around the world.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Chorus Manager and support all areas of Chorus administration. This includes managing rehearsals, auditions, and performances, contributing to the successful delivery of each year's Edinburgh Festival Chorus performances at the Festival.
The post-holder will work closely with the Chorus Director to ensure the smooth execution of Chorus-related activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in choral administration, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for music. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in shaping the artistic direction of the festival. You will contribute to the development of programming strategies, collaborate with artists and stakeholders, and help create an inclusive and diverse environment that celebrates the performing arts.
