Speech Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Lower Southwest regions. Our therapists work closely in dedicated and supportive transdisciplinary teams to provide family and person-centred evidence-based supports to our clients.

Our goal is to enable our clients to live their best lives by working with infants, children, and/or adults with various disability diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorders and clients with vision and hearing impairments. Our therapists work within a general caseload of paediatric and adult clients with the flexibility to tailor caseloads based on individual interests and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and approved by Speech Pathology Australia as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist
  • A current drivers licence, Working With Children (WWC) Check, NDIS Workers screen, and First Aid certification
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the transdisciplinary team
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and deliver person-centred evidence-informed services
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Passion and commitment for working collaboratively with clients and families to build their capacity and improve their life outcomes
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
