We are looking for passionate Speech Pathologists to join our teams in the Lower Southwest regions (Bunbury, Busselton, and Margaret River).

SensesWA Speech Pathologists mainly have a community-based role delivering interventions where our clients live their lives: in homes, schools, and other community settings. Therapists work closely in dedicated and supportive transdisciplinary teams to provide family and person-centred evidence-based supports to our clients. Our goal is to enable our clients to live their best lives

Our therapists work with infants, children, and/or adults with various disability diagnoses including autism spectrum disorders and clients with vision and hearing impairments as well as a range of other conditions/disabilities. Our therapists work within a general caseload of paediatric and adult clients with the flexibility to tailor caseloads based on individual interests and expertise.

What we offer:

  • Industry competitive salary range + 11.5% superannuation + salary packaging up to $15,899 of living expenses and up to $2,650 on entertainment benefits per year + 17.5% annual leave loading (valued at $875 – $1279)
  • 4 weeks annual leave and 2 wellness days (valued at $500 – $730) pro-rata
  • 5 professional development days (valued at $1250 – $ $500 PD budget per annum pro-rata

What you will bring to the role:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and approved by Speech Pathology Australia as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist
  • A current drivers licence, Working With Children (WWC) Check, NDIS Workers screen, and First Aid certification
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the transdisciplinary team
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and deliver person-centred evidence-informed services
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Passion and commitment for working collaboratively with clients and families to build their capacity and improve their life outcomes
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Previous experience working with clients with disabilities and their families is highly desirable but not essential
  • Provide and maintain proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
