Financial Transaction Coordinator

This role requires a meticulous individual to oversee the processing of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinating the daily receipting process to ensure timely and accurate recording of income.
  2. Managing customer accounts, including follow-up on outstanding balances and arranging meetings as necessary.
  3. Reconciling trust bank accounts and resolving any discrepancies or unallocated payments.
  4. Processing direct debits and owner fund transfers in accordance with established procedures.
  5. Preparing comprehensive tenant account reconciliations and month-end reports.
  6. Providing support during audits by gathering and presenting required documents.
  7. Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
  2. Proficiency in finance systems (Yardi or similar software) is highly valued.
  3. Previous experience in the property sector is advantageous.
  4. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills are essential for this position.
  5. A keen eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
  7. A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable.
