Job Description

We are seeking an experienced administration professional to join our team as a Customer Service and Billing Specialist.

Job Summary

This is a full-time permanent position in an industry leading not-for-profit organisation. As a Customer Service and Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring NDIS customer financial and administrative records are accurately managed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete customer billing as required, and ensure appropriate measures and checks are completed within the customer data base system to allow accuracy.
  • Review NDIS customers' plan and initiate actions to secure funding and ensure funds are available for customers to utilise.
  • Provide partnership with the finance team to make sure accurate billing and statement recovery processes are met.
  • Generate regular, accurate and relevant reports, and maintain documentation, data and statistics utilising the program service systems.
  • Coordinate with customers, managers, and stakeholders to secure funds to purchase supports required and invoice accordingly to the relevant teams.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Knowledge around billing and finance specifically NDIS service bookings and billing (desirable).
  • High level computer skills, including use of Microsoft office and navigation and use of customer database system, Salesforce Lumary is desirable.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to interpret, analyse data, with a focus on identify errors, as well as system and operations improvements.
  • Ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks accordingly, while contributing to the teamwork culture.
  • NDIS Worker clearance, Working with Children Check and National Police clearance or willingness to obtain.
