Job Description:

As an Aged Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care and mobility assistance to residents. Your role involves aiding with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

You will assist residents with self-care needs, facilitate safe mobility and transfers, and maintain accurate documentation under the supervision of a qualified leader.

Requirements:

- Possess expertise in personal care, preferably in an aged care setting.
- Demonstrate the capacity to deliver consumer-directed modern aged care with compassion and empathy.
- Showcase initiative and self-motivation, while possessing good communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, adapting to changing circumstances when required.
- Maintain strong time management and organisational skills, combined with proficiency in technology use.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of AN-ACC standards and regulations is advantageous.
- Experience working with people with dementia or palliative care situations would be beneficial.

Essential Certifications:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (aged care) or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
