Mobile Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer to own key aspects of our native Android application.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric UI that is both visually appealing and well-engineered.
  • Design and build the app to optimize for performance, scalability, ease of future development, and code quality.
  • Develop unit and functional tests to ensure maximum code and app quality.
  • Investigate, debug, and fix production issues reported by users.
  • Contribute to brainstorming new product ideas and improvements alongside design and product teams.
  • Refactor existing code where needed to improve quality of life for fellow engineers.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience with native Android development in Kotlin programming language.
  • Strong consumer-facing product and design instincts with a desire to influence product decisions.
  • Preferred experience with GraphQL APIs and Jetpack.
  • Experience working on growth and scale challenges in early-stage startups is beneficial.
