About the Role:

  • This position involves providing effective support to the catering, cleaning and laundry services.">
  • Responsibilities include maintaining legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards, completing required documentation and reporting, responding to queries and requests from residents, and performing laundry and cleaning duties.">
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in cleaning or catering (although not essential).">
  • Flexible availability for various shifts throughout the week is also a must.">

  • Previous catering/food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential">
  • You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.">

Duties:

  • Respond to queries and requests from residents">
  • Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen">
  • Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing ">
  • Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas">
