Job Description

The role of Electronic Access Control System Security Specialist involves designing and implementing comprehensive security systems tailored to the specific needs of major infrastructure projects. This includes responsibility for the design and implementation of electronic access control and CCTV systems from the initial stage through to final certification in accordance with all relevant contract documents and referenced standards.


This specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems with existing infrastructure, collaborating on technical direction and providing guidance on electronic security requirements to stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement custom security solutions for large-scale projects.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the optimal placement of cameras and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate security systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise on electronic security requirements to project stakeholders.


Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electronic access control systems and/or CCTV, including extensive design knowledge.
  • Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in delivering technology-based security projects.
  • Previous exposure to site-based construction environments.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain necessary security clearances for customer sites and applicable projects.
