Job Summary

The Event Coordinator is a pivotal role in our organisation, responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of events and logistics. This position involves managing operations, event planning, and assisting with onsite activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage warehouse logistics, shipping, and equipment management to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Purchase goods and services specific to our Perth office, maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Communicate directly with clients to organise program details, ensuring their objectives are met
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to support other events, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
  • Work closely with the sales team to assist with client acquisition and retention
  • Develop comprehensive programs from start to finish, tailored to meet client needs and expectations
  • Liaise and manage relevant suppliers to maintain high-quality standards
  • Perform administrative duties such as booking flights, accommodation, and transport for the team, ensuring timely and efficient travel arrangements

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality or Events, providing a solid foundation for success in this role
  • Prior experience in hospitality, events, or venue management, demonstrating proven skills and expertise
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail, enabling exceptional client relationships and outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and information exchange
  • Team-oriented and results-driven, with a passion for delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations
  • Ability to problem-solve and multitask, navigating complex situations with ease and poise
  • Experience in Salesforce (preferable) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
