About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Services Supervisor to join our team at Respect, a leading provider of aged care services. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Coordinate and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the upkeep of our facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Asset Management: Manage the maintenance and repair of assets, including equipment, vehicles, and other facilities-related assets.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Identify and implement preventative maintenance measures to minimize downtime and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication: Liaise with staff, residents, and external contractors to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Essential: General maintenance and gardening skills, current driver's license, and current national police certificate.
  • Desirable: Knowledge or experience in establishing and coordinating a maintenance program, experience in maintenance and horticulture management, accredited trade certificate relevant to the position, and accredited testing and tagging certificate.
