Electrical Engineer Job Description

This role requires a skilled electrical engineer with experience in HV earthing systems and project management. As a key team member, you will be responsible for delivering projects to the highest quality, meeting client expectations, and exceeding targets.

  • Project Management: Lead projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • HV Earthing Expertise: Provide expert input in HV earthing system analysis & reporting, oversee HV earthing testing (soil resistivity, fall of potential, current injection).
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate project teams to meet deadlines & standards, mentor junior engineers (technical + commercial).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Australian-recognised Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in HV earthing systems, including analysis and site testing.
  • High proficiency in CDEGS (preferred) and HV power systems experience (PTW, ETAP) desirable.
  • Strong client relationship skills, leadership skills, and passion for mentoring.
