About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer to join our team in shaping our technology stack and building our platform from scratch.

As a senior developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable mobile applications that meet clients' needs. Experience with transactions and payments systems is highly preferred.

You will lead the design, development, and implementation of mobile applications using React Native, collaborate with industry experts to understand business requirements, integrate and manage transactions and payments systems, and write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, troubleshoot complex issues, stay updated with emerging technologies, work closely with the product team, and ensure application scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of mobile applications using React Native.
  • Collaborate with industry experts to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Integrate and manage transactions and payments systems within the mobile applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, providing timely solutions.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into our development processes.
  • Work closely with the product team to prioritize features and enhancements.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in React Native development.
  • Strong experience with front-end and back-end development frameworks.
  • Experience with transactions and payments systems integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with database management and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and gain industry expertise in a short timeframe.
