Job Title:

Distribution Centre Coordinator - Inventory Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory levels and monitor stock movements to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize freight schedules and improve overall efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of pallet and crate counts, ensuring seamless warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with the Value Add team to implement First In, First Out (FIFO) stock rotation and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and oversee forklift maintenance and cleanliness.
Requirements:
  • A current forklift license and driver's license are required.
  • Truck licence is desirable.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a fresh produce setting.
  • Ability to work in cold storage environments.
  • Strong time management, planning, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to juggle competing priorities.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Leadership skills and ability to supervise workers while adhering to company policies.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
